Seven years ago an investor bought the underperforming Seattle Design Center for $24.9 million, or less than half what seller Hines had bought the two-building property for.

Now the asset in Georgetown is nearly full, according to owner Greenbridge Investment Partners, which last week announced four new leases with Resource Furniture, Plasteel Frames, Perennials and Sutherland, and the Atrium Café.

It’s a milestone many thought impossible at the time of the sale, according to Beverly Hills, California-based Greenbridge, which acquired the property with plans to turn the neighboring five-story building into office space for creative companies and tech startups…
