The historic Pasadena Star-News building in downtown Pasadena has leased more than 75% of its space to retail and restaurant tenants, according to its owner Greenbridge Investment Partners.

The Los Angeles-based commercial real estate investment firm said last week that it expects the ground floor tenant Wake and Late, a local breakfast burrito chain, to open this spring. The building, located at 525 E. Colorado Blvd., is also home to Last Crumb, a popular gourmet cookie delivery company that moved into the fourth floor last year.

Sean Hashem, principal of Greenbridge Investment Partners, said the landmark building has seen growing demand for in-person dining and delivery services in Pasadena’s financial district.
